Music Industry Mentoring

Music Industry Mentoring is a vocational mentoring program for young contemporary music industry practitioners and artists in the early stages of their music career.

Having supported the careers of artists such as Courtney Barnett, Alice Ivy, Alexander Biggs and Angie McMahon, the program matches young people with leading music industry professionals, giving program participants direct access to practical advice, hands-on experience, and pathways into the contemporary music industry.

In 2022, The Push is partnering with Crowded House, Live Nation and Arts Centre Melbourne to support two young women and gender non-binary young people to be mentored in technical and sound production roles on the upcoming Crowded House Australian tour.

Applications open Tuesday 1 February 2022, and close at 5:00pm on Tuesday 22 February 2022.

The 2022 Music Industry Mentoring program is delivered in partnership with Crowded House, Live Nation and Arts Centre Melboune.
